Recent Volcanic eruptions on Manaro has seen acid rain reaching East Santo.
Acid rain from Lobenben on Ambae is now visible on the nearby islands of Maewo, Pentecost and extending now to East Santo.
Reports from East Santo tell of oil like residue on plants and also covering the vegetation.
Communities are also for the first time seeing what acid rain looks like.
Though not at a destructive level yet, wind directions are contributing to the spreading of acid rain to other islands.
