All Samsung Galaxy Note 7 devices banned on Air Vanuatu

In response to the safety concerns raised by the carriage of Samsung Galaxy Note 7 on board aircrafts, Air Vanuatu is issuing the immediate ban of all versions of Samsung Galaxy Note 7 mobile on all Air Vanuatu flights effective 17 October 2016.

This ban includes the carriage of the device in both carry on and checked in baggage. Passengers are also prohibited from travelling with the device on their person.

The national carrier asks its passengers to refer to their Airport Supervisors at check in Sydney with Julianne Spillane, Brisbane with Donna Downs and Auckland with Madelaine Mann.

In Port Vila and other ports, passengers are required to follow all procedures as instructed at check in.

This instruction came following the complete ban on Air New Zealand flights, Qantas and virgin airline.
