Australian PM thanks Vanuatu

The Prime Minister of Australia, Hon. Scott Morrison in a phone call to the Acting Prime Minister of Vanuatu, Hon. Jotham Napat, has thanked his Pacific counterpart for being among the first Pacific Island nation to reach out to the Australian people during the horrendous bush fire crisis.

The Australian PM during the call said, “Vanuatu has reached out with big hearts to support Australia financially with AUD$250,000 and also spiritually in prayer as well.”

The Acting Prime Minister of Vanuatu, Hon. Napat told the Australian PM “in good times or bad times, Vanuatu will always stand with Australia”

PM Scott Morrison also thank the citizens of Vanuatu for helping the citizens of Australia.

The Vanuatu Government made a contribution to the rural firefighters of Australia in their efforts to save lives and livelihoods as Vanuatu continues to sympathise with the people of Australia.
