Beverly Hills Church of Christ is extending their message of hope to the government and the people of Vanuatu after handing over an amount of VT 300,000 towards TC Pam relief efforts to the Vanuatu government.
Few weeks after the terrible storm passed, when works were underway to distributing relief to affected communities, a conference led by the Prime Minister and his delegation was held at the NDMO conference room to discuss on the ongoing happenings around the country.
After the press conference, The deaconess , Judith Melsul met directly with the delegation handing over the intended amount.
The congregation has 300 members and wants to share what they have. The handing over was witnessed by the Minister for Finance, Maki Simelum, Minister for Education Bob Loughman, Minister for Climate Change James Bule, the honourable Prime Minister, Joe Natuman as well as DG’s and NDMO staff.
Mrs Melsul says despite the islands being severely hit by the wind and almost everything lost in it, the people of Vanuatu have to look at the brighter side and have faith in everything they do. Like she said Vanuatu is becoming greener and gardens flourishing.
