France Info reports New Caledonia has a beauty ambassador after Amandine Chabrier, the crown returned Saturday night to an eighteen-year-old Métis student Anais Toven.
Of the four finalists, nominee number eight was chosen: Saturday night, at the end of a carnival-themed party at the Païta Arena, Anais was preferred to Marion, Lisa and Pernelle for to embody Miss Caledonia 2019 in the footsteps of Amandine Chabrier, ambassador 2018.

Vanuatu Father & Belgian mother
Anais Toven, 1.70m, was born in Vanuatu eighteen years ago, from a Vanuatu dad and a Belgian mother.
It was at the age of seven that she came to live in Caledonia with her family.
The young woman is a student, Bachelor of Life Sciences and Earth, at the University of Nouville.
