New balls for PVFA clubs

200 football balls were handed over to the Port Vila Football Association (PVFA) lately by the Vanuatu Football Federation (VFF).

Out of the 200 balls, 5 go to each club registered with the PVFA and 40 match balls altogether.

The balls were handed to PVFA as part of the FIFA grant that VFF receives from FIFA every year and distributes it to its Member Associations, and this year PVFA will receive 1.8 million vatu, not in the form of cash, but in the form of materials and equipment as FIFA is clamping down on how their grant to every Member Association is being spent.

“PVFA would like to let all football fans know that since the football season is over, PVFA would like to remind everyone that PVFA Super Cup is coming up in the first week of September,” PVFA Competition Manager, Moise Poida said.

In other PVFA news, PVFA has made an open invitation for three new clubs to join PVFA Second Division. The registration closes on August 25th.
