Not all Ni-vans would be getting ready for a big celebration for the next month or two as a Category 5 cyclone just rampaged through the islands, but since Monday this week the Nguna Community in Port Vila is all ready for a big occasion. This could mean Paul Tarosa and Joziane Shing are the luckiest people to be the first to be wed in Port Vila or probably throughout the islands of Vanuatu after TC Pam.
Families of the pair have been gathering together at their respective areas to prepare for the big event that is happening today, the custom ceremony was made yesterday at Fresh Wota area and Today 1st of May for the civil ceremony at honeymoon beach.

Tusked pigs and mats have been selected and put in order for the pride price by the boy’s family and relatives. This occasion will be celebrated by not only people from Nguna but people from Anytum as well, Tongoa and Pentecost.
