The current Minister of Internal Affairs Honorable Hosea Nevu after becoming Minister responsible for Northern Island Stevedore Company appointed thirteen directors, seven of these directors alone are from Santo rural.
Minister Nevu also appointed Jay Ngwele as the chairman of the NISCOL board and Alexandra Samsen, the son of MP Samson Samsen as the vice chairman.
Thirteen directors were appointed and seven out of this thirteen are from Sanma Province, according to a letter to Prime Minister Sato Kilman in circulation on social media.
Mr. Jay Ngwele is receiving VT800,000 per months, a salary not in the NISCOL Budget and not in the company salary structure.
NISCOL has a long history of being a political playground.
