Opposition presents PM with offer to form GNU

In a meeting yesterday the 5th of November 2015, the Opposition Leader delivered the Oppositions proposal to Prime Minister Sato Kilman to forming a Government of national Unity (GNU).

In the offer, the Opposition state the government has 13 MP’s and the Opposition has 25 Mp’s so the opposition is entitled to 9 positions, plus the speaker position out of the 14 available positions.”

The Opposition has eight political party’s whilst the Government has six.¬†The opposition has requested eight out of the thirteen ministries to reflect proportional distributions of MP’s from both sides.

The Opposition now awaits the PM’s reply to their offer.
