Vanuatu Alliance Exercise 2019 opens this week at the Vanuatu Mobile Force (VMF) Headquarter at the Cooks Barracks in Port Vila this week.
Usually such exercise is a joint military exercise involving Australian Army, Vanuatu Police Force and VMF.
The Exercise aims to enhance the local force ability to conduct community activities on remote islands and develop the ability to plan, conduct and provide support in humanitarian aid and disaster relief.
According to the post, the Australian Army have been visiting Vanuatu to work with VPF and VMF officers for over 12 years.
