Vanuatu hosting the APNIC IXP workshop

APNIC will deliver a two-and-a-half-day Internet Exchange Point (IXP) workshop, from 6 to 8 February 2018, in Port Vila, Vanuatu.

Keen followers of ICT and techies can register now and pay before 19 January 2018 to get the early-bird rate.

The workshop is designed for technical staff who are considering participating at an IXP and is also suitable for technical staff of planned or existing IXPs.

OSPF/ISIS configuration for service provider networks
An introduction to BGP and its attributes, policy, and filtering
Peering objectives and best practices
IXP network design and operations best practices
Participants are encouraged to bring their laptops to practice the hands-on lessons learned using the APNIC virtual lab.
