VFF Futsal National Youth Championship ready for kick off

“Vanuatu Football Federation (VFF) has already acknowledged the importance of Futsal in the country lately, especially now with more Member Associations setting up their own leagues. 

“VFF now recognizes the importance of Futsal as the basis of a strong foundation of a future 11 aside title contender in the region,” VFF Futsal Development Officer states.

VFF Futsal Department is now hard at work ready to host the first ever VFF Futsal National Youth Championship.

With the aim of increasing participation and growth of Futsal around Vanuatu, the Youth Championship which is set to kick off this Sunday 18th July at the Epauto Multi Sport Complex, is set to include U16 teams from Tafea Football Association, Port Vila Futsal League, Shefa Futsal League, Penama Football Association, Luganville Futsal League and VFF High Performance Centre’s U16 football team and U16 Beach Soccer team.

The Youth Championship is a 5 day tournament starting on the 18th to 22 July.
