Vocor is The Second Vanuatu Police Force Member To Attend NEOC

Police Constable Merwel Vocor will travel to Australia tomorrow to attend the Royal Australian Navy ’s New Entry Officers Course at HMAS Creswell, Jervis Bay.

For five months, PC Vocor – who joined Vanuatu’s Police Maritime Wing in 2019 – will study and train together with Royal Australian Navy Midshipmen and further develop the skills, knowledge and behaviours required to be an effective maritime security officer and leader.

Vocor is pictured together with Australian Defence Cooperation Program Maritime Surveillance Advisor, Lieutenant Commander Craig Blakey who attended NEOC in 2002.

PC Vocor is the second Vanuatu Police Force member to attend NEOC, with PC Vocor’s solwata sista PC Rachel Amkori graduating from the prestigious course last year.
