Police on Santo have arrested a suspect from Ambae for the attempted rape of a year seven student on Maewo island.
The victim from Qwatewol village on Maewo, attends the Gambule Secondary School.
A reliable source who also followed the Police reported that Gambule students found the victim and made the report to the Police.
Police have flown the suspect, from Ambae, to Santo to await trial.
